Franconia Sculpture Park - 2014 Intern Artist Program

Franconia Sculpture Park is now accepting applications for the 2014 Intern Artist Program!

Located on 25-acres in the scenic St. Croix River Valley, 45 miles northeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, USA, Franconia offers opportunities for artists to live, create, and exhibit three-dimensional artwork.  Artists are encouraged to challenge themselves to achieve new visions, work on a massive scale generally unattainable in an indoor studio or exhibition space, and engage with the public.

The Intern Artist Program at Franconia offers the opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students, as well as emerging artists to gain professional experience and build expertise in their emerging careers. Intern Artists are provided room, board, and studio space in exchange for daily assistance of the Fellowship Artists and Franconia staff. Intern Artists are in residence 2 to 3 months, with the opportunity to create a new sculpture for exhibition at Franconia.
