DC YouthLink Performance Report FY11 Q3
Each quarter DYRS will produce a report to examine the impact of DC YouthLink on youth living inside the District of Columbia. The reviews, though reporting on outcomes, should not be considered final evaluations of the initiative. Instead, the quarterly reviews are waypoints that mark progress toward the goal of comprehensive service provision and effective rehabilitation. The reports provide opportunities for course correction at regular intervals.
The report is structured around seven primary outcome domains based on the principles of Positive Youth Justice: Public Safety, Relationships, Education, Work, Health, Creativity, and Community. These outcome areas are drawn from research identifying the most important ingredients for re-engaging court-involved youth and laying the groundwork for positive adulthood.
