Donté Manning - Homicide Victim

On Thursday, March 24, 2005, at approximately 9:46 pm, 9-year-old Donté E. Manning was the innocent victim of a sensless shooting, while he was standing outside the front of his residence, in the 2600 block of 13th Street, NW. Donté was taken to Children’s National Medical Center, where he was admitted in very critical condition suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Donté succumed to his wounds on April 26, 2005. The Metropolitan Police Department needs the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
