On Friday, July 24, 2009, at approximately 10:40 pm, Thomas Short was shot while in the 1100 block of Howard Road, SE. On July 26, 2009, Mr. Short succumbed to his injuries. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
