On Sunday, July 17, 2011, at approximately 2:31 am, Pernell Lonnie Dawkins was shot at 345 Ridge Road, SE. On Wednesday, March 14, 2012, Mr. Dawkins died as a result of his injuries. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
