Circumstance:

Officer Sinclair and another motorman were traveling on Bladensburg Road, near Queens Chapel Road when Officer Sinclair attempted to pass an auto by swinging out to the left. As he attempted to pass, the auto decided to turn left.

Officer Sinclair died from a fractured skull and crushed chest.

In 1926 Officer Sinclair made 3,482 arrests and got convictions in all but 13 of them.
