Replace a Non-Driver ID Card
You may obtain a duplicate DC non-driver identification card to replace your damaged, lost or stolen DC non-driver identification card. The DMV makes DC non-driver identification card replacement convenient by offering replacement services online or at a DMV service center. For the online transaction, your unique identification card number, which is contained on previous DMV receipts is necessary to maintain the security of your identity. If you visit a DMV service center to obtain a duplicate, a new digital photo will be taken.
The Patriot Act, Public Law 108-458, National Intelligence Reform Act of 2004 does NOT allow for social security numbers to be displayed on driver licenses or identification cards.
