Force Investigations Branch
The Force Investigations Branch is a unit within the Metropolitan Police Department’s Internal Affairs Bureau. Reflecting the high priority the MPD places on civil rights and officer accountability, the branch is responisible for investigating and reviewing police use of force (both deadly and less-than-lethal).
