Research & Analysis Branch
The Research and Analysis Branch (RAB) provides research and analytical services to support innovative policing operations and public safety practices. RAB staff collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence throughout the department. RAB intelligence products include various reports utilizing crime data, arrest data, call for service data, survey results, and other various data sources.
RAB is in the Strategic Services Bureau (SSB), under the Research and Analytical Services Division (RASD).
